Warriors Basketball Senior Men’s Registration Process
Season 2026/27
Congratulations and welcome to the Warriors Basketball Senior Men’s Programme for the 2026/27 season.
Following the trial and selection process, you have been offered a place within our Men’s First or Second Team, competing in the Southern Area Basketball Association (SABA).
To complete your registration for the 2026/27 season, please work through each of the steps below in order.
The process has been designed to make registration as straightforward as possible while ensuring all Warriors Basketball and Basketball England requirements are completed before the competitive season begins.
Step 1 – Read the Senior Men’s Player Handbook
Before registering, please take the time to read the Warriors Basketball Senior Men’s Player Handbook 2026/27.
The handbook explains how the Senior Men’s Programme operates and includes important information regarding:
The Warriors Way
Player commitment and attendance
Training expectations
Membership and payment terms
Season-long financial commitment
Match fees
Playing time and team selection
Injuries and medical information
Communication
Representing Warriors Basketball
Player responsibilities and expectations
By accepting a place within the programme, you are committing to the standards and requirements outlined within the handbook.
Step 2 – Complete Your Basketball England Registration (PlayHQ)
All Senior Men’s players must hold the appropriate Basketball England membership and competition licence before they can participate in official SABA fixtures.
Please use the relevant PlayHQ registration link provided on this page to complete or renew your Basketball England registration for the 2026/27 season.
If you already have a Basketball England/PlayHQ account, please use your existing account rather than creating a new one.
Your registration must be completed before you can be confirmed as eligible to compete in the Southern Area Basketball Association (SABA).
Step 3 – Complete Your Warriors Basketball Membership & Training Subscription
Before submitting your final player registration, please complete the required Warriors Basketball payments.
Annual Club Membership
All Senior Men’s players are required to pay the:
£30 Warriors Basketball Annual Membership
This contributes towards the wider running and development of the club, league entry fees, administration, club systems, and other operational costs.
Monthly Training Subscription
The Senior Men’s training subscription for the 2026/27 season is:
£35 per month
Payments commence from End of August 2026 and are collected automatically through Stripe. When you make the first payment, this becomes your monthly date
The programme is currently expected to operate until the end of May 2027. If the competitive season continues because of playoffs, finals or other competition requirements, and training facilities are still required, subscriptions may continue into June 2027.
The subscription is a season commitment rather than a pay-as-you-go arrangement. Full payment terms are explained within the Senior Men’s Player Handbook.
Game Fees
Please remember that game fees are separate from your monthly training subscription.
Game fees will only be charged when you are selected to play and will be based on the costs associated with delivering that particular fixture, including referees, table officials and any additional game-day costs.
These costs will be divided between the players selected for that game.
Step 4 – Complete the Senior Men’s Player Registration Form
Once you have completed the previous steps, please complete the Warriors Basketball Senior Men’s Player Registration Form.
There is one Senior Men’s registration form covering both the First and Second Teams, so you do not need to complete separate Warriors registration forms for each team.
The registration form enables the club to:
Record your player and contact details
Maintain emergency contact information
Record relevant medical information
Identify any additional support requirements
Maintain accurate club records
Confirm acceptance of club policies and procedures
Confirm acceptance of the Senior Men’s Player Handbook
Confirm acceptance of the Player Expectations & Code of Conduct
First Team & Second Team Registration
The Warriors Basketball Senior Men’s Programme includes both our First Team and Second Team, competing within SABA.
The coaching team will manage squad allocation, player selection and any competition-specific requirements throughout the season.
Where Basketball England or SABA requires separate competition registration for the First and Second Teams, the appropriate PlayHQ links will be provided.
If you are unsure which team registration applies to you, please speak with the Senior Men’s coaching team before completing that particular competition registration.
Before You Are Fully Registered
Please make sure you have completed:
Read the Player Expectations & Code of Conduct
Completed your Basketball England/PlayHQ registration
Paid your £30 annual Warriors Basketball membership
Set up your £35 monthly Stripe training subscription
Completed the Senior Men’s Player Registration Form
Once all required steps have been completed and your registration has been reviewed, you will be fully registered with the Warriors Basketball Senior Men’s Programme for the 2026/27 season.
Thank you for committing to Warriors Basketball. We are looking forward to getting the season underway and seeing both Senior Men’s teams representing the club throughout the year.
Honesty. Communication. Accountability. Commitment. Respect.
Team First.
We Are Warriors.
