Welcome to Whiteley Warriors! As the the original development club within the Warriors Academy, Whiteley was founded with a clear mission: to grow the game of basketball for young people in Hampshire. The club is now a recognised and respected force in local basketball. It offers a fantastic opportunity for players to train, play and progress in the Whiteley area, within our exciting grassroots basketball environment. Sessions are ideal for players at all stages — whether you're just getting started or aiming to step up your game. Committed players benefit from top-tier coaching, internal competitions and a long-term development pathway with links to National League opportunities with Warriors Elite.

I’m a Level 2 basketball coach with the Whiteley Warriors, coaching the Under-10s while also working with the Men’s 1st Team as Manager and Assistant Coach.
I started playing at 16 with the Solent Southsiders, which later became the Hamble Hornets, where I was part of a successful squad that won multiple local league titles.
Over the past five years, I’ve helped start and build the Whiteley Warriors Men’s team, going on to win multiple league titles as well as the Sophie’s Legacy Cup.
I’m passionate about the game and developing players at all levels, and I bring energy, experience, and a competitive edge to every team I work with. I’m looking forward to even more success in the future.
1, 2, 3… Warriors!

Coach Andy, our Whiteley Warriors Co‑Director of Warriors Basketball CIC, and last seasons Men’s 2nd Team Coach. Andy has been a huge part of the club for the past five years, and his impact can be felt through the Warriors community. His own playing days took him through college, university and local league men’s teams, giving him a real feel for the game.
As a Level 2 Basketball Coach working towards his Level 3, Andy is constantly pushing himself to grow — and he’s helping others do the same by running the local Level 1 and Level 2 coaching courses. He’s also recently qualified as a Level 2 Basketball Referee, adding even more support to the club as we continue to expand.
Over his time with the Warriors, Andy has coached across the pathway: from the local league U14s to joint coaching the National League U18s, and now guiding the Men’s 2nd Team. He’s been involved in half‑term camps, development sessions and has played a key role in helping new teams and clubs grow under the Warriors banner.
Andy’s dedication and passion for the sport make him a great member of the Warriors family. We’re proud to have him helping shape the future of basketball within the Warriors family 🏀
