The Warriors Basketball Grassroots Basketball Development League (GRBDL) has been created to provide young players with regular, enjoyable and meaningful competitive basketball within a safe, inclusive and professionally managed environment. Designed to bridge the gap between weekly training sessions and higher-level competition, the league gives players the opportunity to apply their skills, build confidence and develop a greater understanding of the game.

The GRBDL supports players from our Development Clubs and welcomes partner clubs from across the region, creating more opportunities for children to play basketball close to home. Every fixture places an emphasis on learning, teamwork, sportsmanship and long-term player development rather than simply winning games.

As the league continues to grow, our ambition is to establish a sustainable grassroots competition that meets Basketball England standards while creating clear pathways into National League basketball, coaching, officiating and volunteering. Through the GRBDL, we are committed to growing participation, strengthening local basketball communities and ensuring every player has the opportunity to enjoy, compete and develop within the Warriors Basketball pathway.
