Welcome to Warriors U14s National League team! As part of the Warriors Family, the NL U14s is the top level boys team. If you enjoy basketball and are looking to progress your skills and play in competitive games, the Warriors offer a welcoming home. Players benefit from top-tier coaching, internal competitions and a long-term development pathway.
What’s involved
Commitment to twice weekly training sessions, with league matches played Saturdays or Sundays in Sept - Apr and friendly games played May-Aug.

Ash played Junior and Men’s National League before joining the Royal Air Force, where he has represented both the RAF 1st Men’s Team and the UK Armed Forces Team. Beginning his coaching journey with Gosport Gunners in 2024 before joining the Warriors family, Ash will be Head Coach for the 2026 season.
Ash Hands - Lead Coach
Andy played university‑level basketball in Plymouth and joined the Warriors family in 2022 ahead of their first competitive season. Now a co‑director and Basketball England coach tutor, he brings experience and leadership to the programme. Andy will support the squad as Assistant Coach for the 2026 season
Andy Bradshaw - Coach
Mogsy played up to University level in Liverpool, then joined the Royal Navy and played across Commands and Ships. Joining the Warriors family in 2024 with Fareham Falcons, he has supported the growth at Grassroots and will now manage the U14s NL team for the 2026/27 season.
